Dear parents/Guardians:
Grade 7 Leadership Camp Day is here! All Grade 7 students will be going to Chicopee on Tuesday, September 27 from 8:30 – 2:30. Bus students will be back at Margaret Avenue in time to return home on their normal bus routes. One day of team building, co-operation, and fun at Chicopee awaits us! This camp program is designed to assist students with integration into the Margaret Avenue Community. Through group activities, students will learn to problem-solve as a team. These activities foster good communication and team building skills while encouraging participation on the part of all group members. Friendships and lifelong experiences are the building blocks of this jam-packed day of adventure. It is the expectation and goal of the Margaret Avenue staff that all Grade 7 students participate in this activity.
The cost of camp is $30 and can be paid by cash, cheque or online through School Day. All this information as well as the permission form is now live on School Day for you to access.
Please Note: Chicopee requires that all participants sign a Green Waiver Form which will be sent home as a hard copy. Each student must return the waiver or they will not be allowed to participate.
WHAT TO BRING:
-water bottle
-warm clothes, extra socks, and athletic shoes or boots
-rain gear (it might not be raining that morning but it could rain at any time)
-lunch
***Please do not bring money or electronics to Chicopee, phones are to be left in their lockers***
