For parents of students in grade 8, you are reminded of the requirement to select your child’s grade 9 courses together, using the WRDSB Secondary Online Course Requests (SOCR) system by this Friday, February 28.

SOCR may be accessed using the following link https://socr.wrdsb.on.ca Further instructions are available by selecting “Instructions for Current Grade 8 students” on the home page. 

Please note that those students who have applied to CHCI’s International Baccalaureate, ECI’s Integrated Arts or Fast Forward should not use SOCR to select their courses. These students will select their courses using existing paper forms rather than the SOCR system.

Students are asked to print a copy of their completed course selections, have parents sign it, and return it to their homeroom teachers, by this Friday, February 28. 

If any students do not have access to a computer at home or have the ability to print off a copy of the course selections to be signed by their parents, please see Ms. Wyman to make arrangements to complete course selections and/or print them at school.
