This morning, just  as bus 272 was turning onto Louisa from Margaret Avenue, a small pick up truck collided with the rear of the bus.  The driver of the truck was unable to stop due to the icy conditions.  

Everyone, students and both drivers,  is safe!  Mr MacQueen responded immediately to make sure that no one was hurt, stayed with the students on the bus until police arrived and notified our WRDSB emergency response personnel. He also checked in with all the students at the first nutrition break.

We are proud of how calm and patient our students remained and thankful that everyone is safe.
