School council’s “12 000 pretzels in 12 days“ is in its 5th day. We have thousands more pretzels to sell and need your continued support. We are hoping to wrap up on December 2.
Why such a high goal? We want to enhance student learning with music chairs (Mr. Fehderau says the difference in playing is amazing as the chairs reinforce correct posture!) and Chromebooks as we continue to strive to empower our students to purposefully create positive digital footprints and learn how to use technology to effectively support and extend learning. We want our students to have every advantage!
The pretzels make a great stocking stuffer, party favours or hostess gifts and are lovely attached to a card. They are delicious and a great treat with your afternoon cup of tea!
Many thanks to students and parents who have been supporting our campaign. Ordering, donating, volunteering time to help and of course selling the delicious pretzels – many of you have gone above and beyond and we are very thankful! A special thanks goes out to the team of student volunteers who have been filling the orders and delivering the pretzels to students every day. You have been amazing!
We need more students and parent to help! Parents, if you have not seen the hot pink fundraising sheet, please ask your child for it to review your options. We are hoping to hear back from each of our families even if you are not able to support this campaign.
We have daily draws for Tims cards, three $50 Best Buy gift cards for our top sellers and an ice cream party for
Pretzels will be sold at the upcoming Grade 8 Information Night on December 2 and at our Arts Night on December 9 if we are not already sold out. The pretzels may not be consumed at school as the individual wrappers have the “may contain” warning for nuts.
