Once again, the staff of Margaret Avenue Senior has organized a Leadership Excursion for all our grade 7 students! This excursion continues to be a valuable component of our first month of school as it brings the students together to participate in a variety of team-building and leadership activities off-campus. We have consistently found the activities to be aligned with our efforts to build a positive school community and develop a sense of Maverick Pride amongst our new students.
Our students, accompanied by their home room teacher, will travel by school bus to Chicopee on Thursday, September 25. Parent volunteers are not needed at this time as Camp Leaders from Chicopee will also be on hand to support our students and staff throughout the day. The cost of the trip is $35.00 per child. Students must bring their own lunch and snacks for the day as the cafeteria will not be open.
Grade 7 parents are asked to complete the forms and return them and payment by Thursday, September 18, 2014. Questions or concerns should be directed to the home room teacher.
