This is an exciting time of year for students as they look ahead to the many opportunities available in grade 9. As they prepare for the move to secondary school, students are required to select their grade 9 courses using the WRDSB Secondary Online Course Requests (SOCR) system. SOCR may be accessed using the following link https://socr.wrdsb.on.ca/ Further instructions are available by selecting “Instructions for Current Grade 8 students” on the home page.  The website will become available for students to enter their course selections on February 18th, 2014.

Please note that those students who have applied to CHCI’s International Baccalaureate, ECI’s Integrated Arts or Fast Forward programs should not use SOCR to select their courses. These students will select their courses using existing paper forms rather than the SOCR system.

Students are asked to print a copy of their completed course selections, have parents sign it, and return it to their homeroom teachers.

If any students do not have access to a computer at home or have the ability to print off a copy of the course selections to be signed by their parents, please see Ms Wyman to make arrangements to complete course selections and/or print them at school.
