High School course selection begins shortly. Here is a short overview of what students will be doing to prepare for making their selections:

During the week of Feb 6-17th each grade 8 class will have a review session with their guidance counselor, Mrs. Lawlor Alexander, where they will review the course options they have, heading into grade 9.

They will recieve a Course Selection Planning Page to bring home. On this page will be login instructions for students and parents to access the MY WAY course selection portal on the Margaret Avenue website. The planning page is to be filled out, signed and brought back to school to use during the week of Feb 21–24. During this session, students are encouraged to ask any questions they may have.

During the week of the 21-24th each class will input their course selections with the assistance of the guidance counselor.

The course selection process opens on Feb. 17th and closes on the 27th. Some families may choose to access the course selection portal prior to the selections being made at school. This is fine but please review the Teacher Recommendations section via the My Way link to assist you in selecting the appropriate course level (e.g. academic, applied etc).

Families are able to access the course selection link after courses have been selected at school in case they wish to make changes. All changes need to be made by 4:00 on Feb. 27th
