The staff and students of Margaret Avenue are so very thankful to everyone who has participated in and supported our Backpack Fundraiser! Our very own Welcome Centre has been providing new backpacks to all newcomers to Canada who are in need of a backpack when they begin attending a WRDSB school.  We have already given out almost 200 backpacks, and still need many more!

Huge thank you in particular to Krista Mair and all the ‘Women in Leadership’ of the Scotiabank who dropped off 30 new backpacks and school supplies over the March Break! Backpacks

The Welcome Centre will happily take donations of new water bottles and lunch bags as well. We will be accepting these donations until the end of June.

To donate to the Welcome Centre, please contact 519-576-3018 to arrange to drop off or feel free to drop any items off at our main office!
